The Aesthetic Show

Bringing science and beauty together—the Aesthetic Show gets a facelift.

The 2019 Aesthetic Show was a new event for Informa, gained through an acquisition. The show’s brand and marketing leads called on my team to elevate the look of the event, which in prior years was disjointed due to the use of a variety of stock photography styles and inconsistent branding. My goal was to unify the look and bring a level of sophistication to the campaign. The client also asked to see some approaches with a nod to science to reinforce the educational content of the event.  The concept shown here was my take on the human body as art. The frame as a design element emphasizes the artistry of practitioners, while a subtle molecular pattern lends itself to science and the technical aspects. Both are tied together in my theme line, “Art + Science = Beauty.”
